We are experiencing technical difficulties affecting our ability to answer calls. The Benefit Manager Toolkit is also offline at this time. While we work to fix this issue, please use the member portal or Dental Office Toolkit for self-service resources. Please check back for updates. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Group Plan Members

If you receive coverage through an employer-sponsored plan, there are two key changes you'll want to be aware of:

  • You’re getting access to a new, enhanced member portal. If you already have a username and password to manage your Delta Dental benefits online, you can use that information to sign into the new member portal. If you’ve never managed your Delta Dental benefits online, you can create an account. You’ll need your new member ID to complete your registration.
  • Your group number and member ID may change. As a courtesy, we're sending a new ID card with updated information to most members the week of September 13. Keep an eye on your mailbox!
    • Note: Some employers requested that we do not re-card their members. If your dental plan coverage is through one of these groups, you should download a copy of your new ID card in the new member portal on September 14:
      • A & M Air Conditioning and Heating
      • Acorn Montessori Charter School, Inc.
      • Arizona Advocacy Network
      • Arizona State Retirement System/Public Safety Personnel Retirement System

One last thing: It’s important to note that our system enhancements only affect how we manage your group-sponsored dental plan behind-the-scenes and there are no changes to your plan coverage.

Individual Plan Members

Alongside the system enhancements, we are transitioning to a plan administrator to handle the behind-the-scenes tasks of administering our individual and family policies. This transition will be effective September 13. Here's what all of this means to you:

  • Your member ID is changing. As a courtesy, we're sending a new ID card with updated information to individual plan members the week of September 13. Keep an eye on your mailbox!
  • You’ll call a different number for customer service. If you have questions about your coverage or need assistance paying your bill, please call 800.894.2961.
  • Your billing frequency will change if you're currently on a semi-annual payment schedule. Individual plan members who are on a semi-annual schedule will automatically be moved to a monthly payment schedule when their next payment is due.
  • You'll send annual check payments to a different address. Individual plan members who are on an annual payment schedule and pay by check will need to remit payment to our new billing address to avoid a disruption in service:

Delta Dental of Arizona
Attn: Individual Payments
PO Box 741733
Los Angeles, CA 90074-1733

One last thing: It’s important to note that these changes only affect how we manage your individual and family dental plan behind-the-scenes and there are no changes to your plan coverage.
