Delta Dental of Arizona Foundation Encourages Nonprofits to Apply for Grants 

(GLENDALE, Ariz. – September 7, 2021) — The Delta Dental of Arizona Foundation is looking forward to helping even more Arizonans with their oral health needs as its grants cycle for 2022 is now open. Nonprofit organizations are encouraged to apply for grants ranging from $2,500 to $30,000 to support oral health programming focused on education, preventative care and treatment. The Foundation will consider a wide range of oral health programs for families throughout Arizona with a specific focus on underserved and uninsured children, pregnant women and senior citizens.

“In 2021, the Delta Dental of Arizona Foundation selected 30 non-profit organizations across the state as recipients of grants and dental supplies to improve the oral health of Arizonans,” said Barb Kozuh, Delta Dental of Arizona director of community benefit. “We were able to award $774,322 in total across these 30 organizations to support programs and services promoting good oral health practices and increasing access to dental care among underserved children, pregnant women and seniors throughout 2021.”

Applications are due on Thursday, October 14 by 5 p.m.  Successful applicants will be announced in December 2021, with checks delivered in early January 2022. To submit, the program must take place between January 1, 2022 and December 31, 2022. A public announcement of awardees can be expected in January 2022.
