GLENDALE, Ariz. (Jan. 31, 2018) - Delta Dental of Arizona, through its Foundation, is working to ensure access to preventive oral health care and dental education for some of the state’s most underserved populations by announcing nearly $800,000 in grants to 37 non-profits. The 2018 grants will assist organizations working to help pregnant mothers, as well as high-risk children and their families, by funding safety net clinics, community health centers, oral health education, dental health awareness programs and oral health coalitions.
“At Delta Dental of Arizona, one of our core values is social responsibility so by providing these organizations with funding, we can work together to make an immediate impact throughout our state by providing access to dental care and services,” said Delta Dental of Arizona President and CEO Allan Allford. “Lack of dental care can lead to dire health and financial consequences and we know these organizations are working to keep Arizona families healthy which is why we are so proud to support them.”
