Delta Dental of Arizona Adds New Executive Vice President of Business Development
Bradley J. Clothier Brings Wealth of Healthcare Insurance Industry Experience to Team
Glendale, Ariz. - March 3, 2016 - Delta Dental of Arizona is pleased to announce that Bradley J. Clothier will serve as the dental insurer’s executive vice president of business development. In this newly created position, Clothier will identify and implement new strategic initiatives that further solidify Delta Dental of Arizona’s position as the top dental insurance carrier in the state.
“Brad brings a wealth of knowledge in the group healthcare insurance industry, having spent more than 31 years as a business development, operations, sales, and marketing executive,” said Delta Dental of Arizona President/CEO Allan Allford. “I’ve had the pleasure of knowing and working with Brad for nearly 15 years and I’m very excited about the new leadership capabilities he brings to Delta Dental of Arizona.”
Clothier and his wife, Karen, will be relocating to Arizona from Kansas City, where he was market president for Aetna. In that role, he had executive management responsibilities for Aetna’s Kansas and Oklahoma group insurance markets as well as parts of Arkansas and Missouri. Prior to his time at Aetna, he was senior vice president/chief operating officer at Preferred Health Systems, Inc. and Coventry Health Care of Kansas.
In addition, Clothier has in-depth knowledge of Delta Dental’s history, structure, products and mission by virtue of his six years of service as a board director for Delta Dental of Kansas and eight years as a board director for the Delta Dental of Kansas Foundation.
“Brad’s experience with Delta Dental of Kansas and its Foundation, along with his proven track record to guide and develop staff through periods of tremendous growth and industry change make him uniquely qualified for this position,” Allan said. “In addition, he shares Delta Dental of Arizona’s value of making a difference in the communities we serve."
Clothier’s first day is April 1.
