Sunday Slugger Show educates kids on dangers of smokeless tobacco  


GLENDALE, Ariz. (June 18, 2015)
- Sponsored by Delta Dental of Arizona, the Sunday Slugger Show is a monthly 30-minute presentation featuring D. Baxter the Bobcat, Bobby Freeman and a D-backs player educating children about the dangers of smokeless tobacco and promoting good dental habits. Attendees receive a free activity book and have a chance to win a Delta Dental prize pack. 

The show also encourages kids to join the No Chew Crew, a unique club for young fans to increase awareness of the dangers of smokeless tobacco. Members of the No Chew Crew receive a complimentary kid's admission to every Sunday home game and a free toothbrush!

When: Approximately 11:45 a.m., prior to the following Sunday home games: June 21, July 19, August 30 and September 13

Where: Baxter's Den in the Phoenix Children's Hospital Sandlot, located on the upper concourse past section 332

Cost: The Sunday Slugger Show is free with paid ballpark admission. No Chew Crew membership is free for children up to 15 years old. A parent must be 18 years or older to register their child for the No Chew Crew.
