Delta Dental of Arizona welcomes new board member  

GLENDALE, Ariz. (Sept. 1, 2015) - Delta Dental of Arizona is pleased to announce the addition of Gary Jones, DDS to the Board of Directors. Dr. Jones brings over 30 years of dental experience and expertise to the board. His proven commitment to dental care will be a valuable asset to the board as they work to improve oral health statewide. 

A graduate from Northwestern Dental School, Jones serves on the American Dental Association Council on Membership, is a past president of the Arizona Dental Association and is a board member of the Central Arizona Dental Society Foundation, which sponsors the Arizona Dental Mission of Mercy event each year. 

Previously, he served as the chairman of the Mesa Citizens for Better Dental Health, the committee responsible for successfully leading a voter initiative to fluoridate the city of Mesa’s water supply. In addition, he was a consulting and treating dentist for Mesa Public Schools’ at-risk children.
